A320 TRI/SFI Initial Course
The training course for an SFI equals the content of the TRI training course.
Instructor certificates are valid for a period of 3 years.

A320 TRI/SFI Revalidation Course
A revalidation is where an AOC is carried out before the expiry date of your current rating.
You can take an AOC within 1 year prior to the expiry date of your current rating and the new expiry date will be an extension of 36 months to your current expiry.

A320 TRI/SFI Renewal Course
A renewal is needed when your TRI/SFI rating has expired.

You can take a LPC within 3 months prior to the expiry date of your current rating and the new expiry date will be an extension of 12 months to your current expiry
