The TRI/SFI Refresher Seminar is for holders of a TRI(A) and/or SFI(A) certificate who want to renew or revalidate it.

This course is approved per Commission Regulation (EU) 1178/2011 “Aircrew” and meets one of the requirements for revalidation or renewal of instructional certificates according to FCL.940.TRI TRI – Revalidation and Renewal, and FCL.940.SFI SFI – Revalidation and Renewal.

The course aims to update participants on various instructional skills, including:

Relevant EU aviation regulations

Teaching and learning methods

Lesson plan creation principles

Incorporating TEM & CRM into technical training

Evaluating trainee performance and reporting

COURSE DELIVERY

The tutor will adapt the course to participants’ experience levels, encouraging interactions among them.

The course will be conducted online in English.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

• • CPL or ATPL (A) license with a valid type rating (TRI only)

• • Valid TRI and/or SFI (A) certificate (either expiring in the next 12 months or expired)

DURATION

• • For TRI/SFI certificate revalidation, the course consists of a one-day online course. For TRI/SFI certificate renewal the ATO will provide additional training if required.
